FIF and Billy Idol

I was listening my buddies iTunes and he has Five Iron Frenzy's 2nd album on it! It was like having life handed back to you. I encourage you to find it somewhere and give it a listen. Also you can check this out for yourself if you don't believe me, Billy Idol is going to play a few shows on the Vans Warped Tour. I just thought that I would let you all in on that little treasure of knowledge.

There isn't a whole lot to write about this week so I will just make this an update on my life. On Saturday, Looy and I went to this dock/park behind the Wendy's. It was very pretty, the sun was shining and the air was warm. The wind was blowing slightly and made ripples on the water that looked like diamonds glittering in the sunlight. It brought back a memory of a park back in C-town. O' Schiller Park. (I don't really have any idea as to the spelling of that, it is the park in German Village.) The wind was blowing but it was crisp and the diamonds were glittering brightly and rapidly. It was very beautiful, both times.

The image of these "diamonds" made me think of what we should look like as Christians. We are in the world, living, working and doing life with people. And like the water reflecting the light, we are to reflect Christ's love back to him and let the people in our community see that love by our actions, how we live, work and play and involve them in our lives. It's a big job but its what we are called to do. Step up to the plate, but remember that the Holy Spirit is in you and that he will equip you. Good luck team, see ya at the finish line.
