"Said it's been awhile, but it's only been 10 months"

After dreading to write an entry, I have been inspired by "The J's" new post to update mine. Things down in South Carolina are going well. With all the hurricane stuff happening not to far away and having all the news channels on, it has been a hard week or so to stay positive. My prayers are with those people and I have recently been told of some ways to help them here at school. So now that my faith will be met with some works, I feel like I can really get going on with my reality. I'm so fortunate to be able to do that. I can't imagine how those people are feeling. Keep praying for them and that the Christians down there will be the light that they need.

The SWU campus has a great buzz going around right now. We had our "Spiritual emphasis" week last week with Daron Earlewine from IND. It all started last Thursday with a chapel lead by the student chaplains. I have been blessed to be one of those this year so I got to speak for a brief period of time. It was great, I think. I talked about my summer with all my heart stuff going on. And about nothing standing in God's way to get to us, not distance or gas prices or anything. I also talked about how God wants us to pursue him. People laughed a lot so that was good, I guess that means they at least listened and it's all about throwing seeds and letting God make them grow, so I feel it went pretty well.

Thomas, Lyle and I had our first Greek 1 test on Friday. Thomas passed, Lyle passed and did very well. Me on the other hand, I refuse to pick my test up. It is in my mail box where it will stay as long as possible.

The family came down this weekend for Thomas' b-day, 20th. G-force was reunited on Saturday night including G-2 and the new G-2.5 It was a great night down in G-ville (Greenville). Well I am done rambling I'll try to keep this updating more regular, thanks for waiting.

Nate, glad to hear you're doing well. Hope the chaplain thing is working out well for ya, looks like we both have some pretty sweet ministry jobs huh? Stick with the Greek man, it'll get easier!
