Nancy's Love

The Secret Room, hot tea, and good company, that is what this Thanksgiving Break has been all about. The drive up was good, pretty quick expect for our one stop. We have to figure out a way to shorten our stop. Tuesday night was spent staying up late catching up with old friends. Wednesday and Thursday were both all family days, what else would I rather do. Friday, we always go out to eat and to a movie. Some how we saw... I don't know if I should even say what we saw? We saw Pride and Prejudice. About 2 hours and 15 min to long if you ask me. Then we were off to B & E's for Dinotos! and more family.

On Thursday, when we were all gathered around the thanksgiving table we were supposed to say what we were thankful for, kind cliche and of course only like two people said anything. I said that I was thankful for my new pacemaker, I had to say something, the awkward silence was deafening. But I was thinking about how ridiculous our family is. We have had a pretty crazy year. A horrible death, and then a beautiful new life started and everything in between, and through it all we have been there for each other.

As G-Force sat in a small both in Nacy's waiting for our food talking about girls, and the rules of the secret room. I thought this is what it's all about, building foundations that last. The only way G-force is able to be G-force is because of our love for each other and for Jesus. I know your supposed to love your neighbor as yourself but I guess there are some neighbor's that you rather love than others. It takes a life time to learn to love everyone and to love those neighbor's that are hard to love. But knowing that there are people you can love, is good start.
